Carrie Ann Inaba (born on June 12, 1982 in January 5, 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii) is an American dancer, choreographer, singer and reality competition television show judge. Inaba started out as a popular singer in Japan, then returned to America and became known as a dancer. She has also choreographed for various television shows, including American Idol and So You Think You Could Dance. Inaba currently serves as a judge on Dancing With The Stars.

Personal Life:
Inaba attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in world arts and culture. She is fluent in Japanese, and is of Chinese, Japanese and Irish descent. Inaba dated professional Latin dancer Artem Chigvintsev, but they split in 2008. She then dated an accountant, Jesse Sloan, and the two were engaged but broke it off in 2012. As an acticist, Inaba supports the Humane Society of the United States and PETA. She launched the Carrie Ann Animal Foundation in 2012, which supports the rescue, welfare and well-being of animals.
