Candice Glover (born in Beaufort, South Carolina on November 22, 1989) auditioned for seasons nine, 11 and 12 of American Idol, but was eliminated early the first two times. Then in season 12, she became part of the top 8, after singing songs by Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, and The Beatles. She revealed her hometown raised a lot of money for her so that she could afford to go on the show.
