Candace Cameron Bure (born Candace Cameron April 6, 1976 in Panama City, Los Angeles, California) is an American actress and television personality. She has four siblings, one of whom, her older brother, Kirk, inspired Candace to begin acting when they were still children. She started out acting in commercials before moving onto guest starring roles in shows such as St. Elsewhere, Growing Pains and Who’s the Boss? In 1987, she landed the role for which she is still best known to this day: DJ Tanner on Full House. Candace remained a series regular throughout the entire series until it wrapped in 1995. Following her time on Full House, Candace took a break from acting to focus on having children, occasionally booking guest spots on various television shows. She competed on season 18 of Dancing with the Stars alongside partner Mark Ballas and ultimately placed third. In 2015, it was announced that Candace would reprise her role as DJ for a Full House spinoff series called Fuller House, debuting on Netflix in 2016.

Personal Life:
Candace married NHL player Valeri Bure, who is Russian, in 1996. They were introduced to one another by Candace’s Full House costar, Dave Coulier. In her 20s, Candace became heavily invested in Christianity, which she credits as the key to her marriage’s success. The couple has three children: Natasha, born in 1998, Lev, born in 2000, and Maksim, born in 2002.
