Blake Griffin (born Blake Austin Griffin in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on March 16, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers. He played two seasons of college basketball for the Oklahoma Sooners, where he was named the Consensus National Player of the Year as a sophomore, before entering the 2009 NBA draft, where he was selected by the Clippers as a first overall pick. After spending his first year injured, Blake made his NBA debut as a rookie in 2010, in which he was selected as an All-Star, won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, and was named the NBA Rookie of the Year. The following year, Sports Illustrated called him one of the NBA’s 15 Greatest Rookies of All Time. Blake has been named an All-Star every season since, and has helped make the Clippers perennial playoff contenders.

Personal Life:
Blake Griffin shares a son named Ford Wilson Cameron-Griffin with his former girlfriend Brynn Cameron. In April, 2015, he was also linked to 29-year-old model and actress Kari Klinkenborg, after the two were spotted leaving a Los Angeles nightclub together. As of summer 2017, he’s rumored to be dating Kendall Jenner. In October 2014, Blake was charged with misdemeanor battery as a result of a Las Vegas incident involving a bystander. The NBA star allegedly seized a cell phone from its owner after the owner took a photo of Blake and a group of Clippers players. The charges however, were dismissed in March 2015 for lack of evidence. In January 2016, Blake also got into a physical altercation with Clippers staff member Matias Testi. That case is still under investigation.
