Becky G (born Rebbeca Marie Gomez on March 2, 1997 in Los Angeles, California) is an American singer/songwriter and rapper. She became famous by uploading videos of herself to YouTube. In her videos, she performed remixes of popular songs. Becky has since collaborated with artists, including: Cher Lloyd and Cody Simpson. In 2013, Becky released her debut EP titled Play It Again. Her next album, Shower, will come out later in 2015.

In early 2015, Becky began getting close with Austin Mahone, with whom she also collaborated on the 2015 song “Lovin’ So Hard.” As of May 2015, the two were confirmed to be dating. Three months later in Aug. 2015 they reportedly split.
