Amber Tamblyn (born Amber Rose Tamblyn in Santa Monica, CA on May 14, 1983) is an actress, author, poet and film director. Two of her most popular films are The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and The Grudge. She’s worked with a ton of actors and actresses like, Amy Poehler, James Franco, Orlando Bloom, Patricia Clarkson, Blake Lively, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and many more. She’s guest starred on popular TV shows like Two and a Half Men, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and more. Amber comes from a family of performers — Her father, Russ Tamblyn, is an actor, dancer and singer; Her mother, Bonnie murray, is a singer, and an artist. Amber began performing in the arts around the age of 10.
