Dinah Jane Hansen (born Dinah Jane Milika Ilaisaane Hansen on June 22, 1997 in Santa Ana, California) is an American singer. Dinah grew up in a 4-bedroom home with 23 other people. She was signing at various events around Orange Country, Calfironia, while growing up. She auditioned for the second season of The X-Factor, receiving positive reviews from all the judges before she was promoted to the Bootcamp round of the competition. A critical stumble led to her elimination as a solo singer, but she was brought back as part of a the girl group LYLAS with Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello. The group would be renamed Fifth Harmony. Though Fifth Harmony would place third in the competition, they would continue to perform afterward. Their debut EP, Better Together, was released in 2013. Within its first week, it reached the No. 6 position on the Billboard 200. Their debut album, Reflection, was released in 2015. The song “Worth It” became the group’s first Top 15 hit, going on to earn Double Platinum certification.

Personal Life:
Dinah Jane is the oldest of six siblings. She also is reportedly the oldest of 23 grandchildren in her family. Dinah sang in a reggae band with her mother and joined her brothers to sing in church while growing up. She cites Beyonce as an influence. In 2015, she revealed that she was dating San Francisco 49ers player Jarryd Hayne.
