Tonight — Dec. 5 — marks an iconic chapter in Gossip Girl history. After years of affairs, fighting and just plain royal pains Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) finally made the decision to spend the rest of their lives together. But now Chuck may not have the rest of his life to live.

We all know how difficult it’s been for Chuck to drop the “L” bomb to Blair in the past — it was the root of their first break-up after all. So when Chuck admits to his best friend that he can’t imagine the day when he’s NOT in love with her, it’s a pretty big step in the right Chairection.

We are nearing the much-anticipated Blair and Prince Louis’ wedding scene, where I’m hoping (just as much as the next girl) she leaves the alter and runs into the arms of Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick). And after tonight’s episode, I’m liking how Blair’s fairytale is unraveling into an inescapable Chairytale.

On the Oct. 10th episode of Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) revealed the father of her baby is her fiance Prince Louis (Hugo Becker). Many Chair supporters — including myself — were hopeful the father would be Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick).  But to our surprise, the baby is Blair’s husband-to-be.  My heart is still aching from the devastating news!

Needless to say, it’s safe to say a lot changed in the heat of the summer.

Many loose ends were tied together on the half-hour Entourage series finale — Vince is ready to tie the knot, Ari leaves his job and a pregnant Sloane forgives E! But was it really wise to leave us with only one cliffhanger? Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) and his crew went out out with a bang on…
