The Oscars are on Sunday! While we’re excited to find out who the big winners will be, we’re more excited to see what our favorite A-listers will be wearing on the red carpet! As we get ready for the big night, let’s take a look back on the 2011 best dressed list — who do YOU think looked best? VOTE!

At last year’s Oscars, the red carpet was crawling with some of our favorite Hollywood stars looking absolutely fabulous in their gorgeous designer gowns. Stylist and now designer Rachel Zoe showed her spring 2012 collection in NYC on Sept. 12, where editors and celebrities turned out to take in Rachel’s looks. Her affinity for the ’70s was present in the silhouettes, patterns, and flounce sleeves — we love how wearable and feminine her collection is! We got to catch up with renowned celebrity stylist and Via Spiga ambassador Cristina Ehrlich, who was on hand at the shoe boutique in NYC on Aug. 30 offering up her personal tips for shoe shopping this fall. Cristina believes in a classic, less-is-more approach both on and off the red carpet — which is why we weren’t surprised to hear that she’s a huge fan of both Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister, Pippa Middleton!

I think Selena Gomez is totally adorable & so down-to-earth, but I didn’t really consider myself a huge fan of her music — until I saw her live on Aug. 20 at PNC Bank Arts Center in NJ. Sponsored by K-Mart, Selena put on quite the show — and I had a blast, dancing along to her catchy songs! While the majority of the crowd was around 10-years-old, that didn’t hinder my fun. Selena is full of energy and really loves her fans — and it totally shows, both on stage and off! I got to meet Selena before the show, and she was so happy to greet everyone — and she even took a break to shoot some hoops with boyfriend, Justin Bieber! The Olsen twins may appear to take a nonchalant approach to style, but apparently they have a penchant for pricey accessories — and they are designing them for the masses! While the handbags for their label, The Row, are classic and chic they come with a hefty price tag, with the smallest (and cheapest) bag retailing for a whopping $4,700.

Sheer pantyhose are still scoffed at in many fashion circles — and while I understand why Kate might be wearing them, does this mean she’s going to revive the trend?
Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, was glowing while making various appearances on the Royal Tour — and we aren’t talking about her face! Her legs gave off a sheen, thanks to sheer pantyhose. The stockings, which were big in the ’80s, aren’t really a big trend especially for summer — but they look like a royal requirement! Queen Elizabeth, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie all sport hose when they’re out and about at official engagements. Considering the material of the countless dresses Kate wore on the tour coupled with all her appearances, it really isn’t surprising that Kate wore something that would smooth her out. While I don’t find her stockings particularly stylish, if there’s one thing Kate can do, it’s start a trend — and it looks like that’s exactly what’s happening!
