The parents are being investigated for potentially trafficking the child, but the mother of ten explained she did not sell the child, but rather gave her away because she could not care for her.
Sasha Ruseva, 35, was confirmed as the mother of “Maria,” the mysterious blonde-haired blue-eyed girl discovered at a Roma settlement in Greece. She and her husband, Atana Rusev, 37, fled their own gypsy camp in Bulgaria after providing samples for DNA testing.

A 4-year-old girl only referred to as “Maria,” was found during a police drug trafficking sweep at a gypsy camp near Farsala, Greece on Oct. 16. The girl was found muddy and hiding underneath a blanket when police arrived, prompting investigation into her case. Police found that her suspected kidnappers were making the young girl beg and dance for money.

Lee Thompson Young tragically died on August 19.  After he failed to appear at work, his co-workers from the set of TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles called Lee’s landlord to check up on him. Sadly, when the landlord opened the door, the 29-year-old’s body was found in his Los Angeles home with what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Four years prior, Lee committed suicide onscreen in ABC’s FlashForward, which makes us feel that much more uneasy about the actor’s death.
