The second-to-last episode of every Vampire Diaries season has always been finale-worthy, but the May 3 episode was so much more than that. Not only did Matt Davis hit it out of the park with his gripping portrayal of “evil Alaric,” but fans also got the shock of the season when death paid a visit to Mystic Falls — and not to the person everyone was expecting.

I know it’s a musical, but this week’s ‘Smash’ had more partner-swapping than a square dance.
Am I crazy, or do Julia (Debra Messing) and Frank (Brian d’Arcy James) now have the most stable relationship out of all the couples on Smash? By the time the curtains dropped on the April 30 episode, both Karen (Katharine McPhee) and Ivy’s (Megan Hilty) love lives were in shambles as their boyfriends spent the hour getting handsy with other dames.

So, how are your eyes doing? Red? Puffy? I thought so. The April 26 episode of The Vampire Diaries more than made up for this season’s uneven quality by delivering an incredible hour that took everything to the next level. Not only did Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) love triangle become pointier than ever, but we’ve got ourselves a new Big Bad in Mystic Falls — and I’m kind of terrified to see how it all plays out.

If your children ever ask you where babies come from, for the love of Westeros, don’t show them the final scene from this week’s Game of Thrones. Childbirth is gross enough as it is without the unholy image of Melisandre (Carice van Houten) screaming and pushing a full-grown shadow creature out of her priestess hoo-ha. I guess Stannis (Stephen Dillane) finally got that son he was hoping for, even if he does share partial paternity with the Lord of Light. I don’t envy whoever has to fill out that birth certificate.

Kathryn’s (Anastasia Griffith) return to Storybrooke may have proven Mary Margaret’s (Ginnifer Goodwin) innocence, but as we saw on the April 22 episode of Once Upon A Time, it also raised the stakes for everyone in town. Not only are things looking even more bleak for David (Josh Dallas) and Mary Margaret, but Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) are back at each other’s throats: Who exactly is working for who now?

Game of Thrones fans have used many words to describe Melisandre (Carice van Houten) after she made her debut on last week’s season premiere — evil, shady and cryptic come to mind — but the April 8 episode added one more to that already colorful list: slutty! The “priestess” offered herself up to Stannis (Stephen Dillane), promising to deliver him the son his wife never could. And as an added layer of poetry, Stannis wrecked Melisandre on a map of Westeros, sending all the pieces crashing to the floor. Foreshadowing much?

Californication’s fifth season has been quite a roller coaster for Camilla Luddington, whose character has had to juggle multiple jobs — and multiple guys — with questionable success. But Camilla tells HollywoodLife.com that the April 1 finale will truly show Lizzie at her lowest. “It’s her acting debut, her moment to shine, and it really does not happen for her,” Camilla tells me. “She’s not happy about that.”

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but 90210 fans rooting for Liam (Matt Lanter) and Annie (Shenae Grimes) to reunite this season will probably be disappointed come May — and they’ve got Annie’s new priest friend Caleb (Robert Hoffman) to thank for it! “Caleb takes up a lot of Annie’s head space … for the last six episodes of the season,” Robert tells HollywoodLife.com.

Gossip Girl taught me not to trust Sebastian Stan, and the March 25 episode of Once Upon A Time reminded me why: He may be able to charm the buttons off my remote control, but he’s also one of the shadiest gents around. As Jefferson — Storybrooke’s equivalent to the Mad Hatter — he kidnapped Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) in an attempt to get his daughter back. Oh, did I mention he’s also one of the only characters who know exactly who he is?

Fun in the sun quickly turned to tears in the hospital for one ‘90210’ couple. (Spoilers ahead!)
It was “hospital week” on the March 21 episode of 90210, with nearly half the cast being admitted for various treatments. Silver (Jessica Stroup) was tested for the cancer gene, Dixon (Tristan Wilds) learned he has a heart condition after collapsing in the studio, and Ivy (Gillian Zinser) discovered that Raj’s (Manish Dayal) cancer was back — and she had very little time to say goodbye.

Plus, David has flashbacks from his life as Prince Charming! Something big is happening.
Everyone in Storybrooke attempted to prove Mary Margaret’s (Ginnifer Goodwin) innocence on the March 18 episode of Once Upon A Time — and I literally mean everyone. Henry (Jared Gilmore) found evidence she’d been framed, Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) offered his apparent legal services, and David (Josh Dallas) tried to prove he’s the one who killed Kathryn!
