A growing family! Liev Schreiber, 55, and his girlfriend, Taylor Neisen, 31, secretly welcomed their first child together in recent weeks, as they were spotted on a stroll in New York City on Sept. 13 (SEE PHOTOS HERE). The actor and his leading lady were pictured with their bundle of joy just five months are reports claimed that Taylor was pregnant.
While on their adorable walk with the little one, the 31-year-old momma carried their baby on her chest in a beige baby sling. The proud parents twinned in black t-shirts, however, Taylor rocked baggy jeans and sandals. Meanwhile, Liev opted for black jeans and black shoes as he pushed the baby stroller through the Big Apple.
Liev also took to Instagram Wednesday evening to confirm the arrival of their daughter, whom they named Hazel Bee, and to share the birth date. “So happy that Hazel Bee is finally here,” he captioned two photos, one of her little hand, and one of her little foot. “She arrived early in the morning of August 27th and has been a dream every day since. Mom and baby are both super happy and healthy. Thanks to all for the love and support.”
Liev and Taylor have been linked since at least 2017 — though they’ve kept their relationship extremely private, aside from a few glamorous red carpet appearances during Taylor’s pregnancy. In June, reports emerged that they’d secretly married in an intimate backyard ceremony. Neither has officially confirmed the alleged marriage, however. This is Liev’s third child, as he shares children Sasha, 16, and Kai, 14, with his ex, Naomi Watts, 54.
Liev and Oscar nominated actress Naomi famously split in 2016 after welcoming two kids together — she went on to marry Billy Crudup. And though they’ve long gone their separate ways, the King Kong star once admitted she’s “proud” of the co-parenting she does with her famous ex. “We’re doing things very differently. I’m pretty proud of us, corny as that may sound,” the luminous actress told Net-a-Porter for a 2019 interview. “We’ve made it our absolute priority to be good and kind to each other and we’re absolutely committed to that.”
Liev agreed in a separate interview. “It’s always hard, you know? You build a life with someone, and things change,” he told Sunday TODAY following their breakup. “And I think the way that we’ve looked at it is that we’ll always be partners with these kids.”
Liev also stressed the importance of maintaining an amicable relationship. “It’s important to support each other,” he explained at the time. “I was making some jokes at breakfast about mommy with the boys and their eyes light up when I talk about her. You can see how important it is to them that their parents care about each other.”
