Miley Cyrus, 28, revealed some unexpected décor in one of her homes! “I like sex toys,” the Hannah Montana alum stated in a recent interview with Sirius XM radio’s Barstool Sports show. Miley went on to explain that she not only likes them for use, but also as knick knacks on display. “I buy them for myself, but I end up using them for interior design. Sex and interior design go actually hand in hand,” she further explained.
The Plastic Hearts singer quietly purchased a mansion in Los Angeles suburb Hidden Hills for $4.95 million last July our sister site Variety reported. The 6,800-square-foot home sits on a 1.25 acre property, and includes six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, lagoon style swimming pool and more. Although the 1950’s era home has had some updates — including the addition of multi-pane arched windows and marble countertops — Miley hinted she did some additional updates. “When I come home, I get to choose what f****** color the couch is and I couldn’t choose, so I picked all f****** three colors,” she revealed. “And so that just really feels really good.”
She has been a fan of the country neighborhood for some time, previously owning a home there which she later sold. Miley also owns a 30-acre country estate outside of Nashville, which she purchased for $5.8 million in 2017. Previously, she lived in Malibu with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, 30, however she sadly lost the home in the 2018 Woolsey Fire. The on-again, off-again couple split for good in Aug. 2019 just nine months after marrying. “The only time that I ever felt like I was acting in my personal life is in relationships that were no longer working for me,” the Tennessee native also said in the new interview.
Fresh off her split from Liam — who she originally began dating as a teen in 2010 after meeting on-set of The Last Song — Miley hooked up with Kaitlynn Carter, 32. After a whirlwind trip to Italy, and appearances at the MTV VMAs and New York Fashion Week, Miley quickly moved on with Cody Simpson, 23.
“I just encourage people to be logical [about relationships] — don’t drown in emotion, make your f****** list, look at what somebody is contributing and what someone is subtracting from your life, and then make an executive decision. If you’re not happy, get the f*** out,” she advised fans. Though Miley and Cody seemed deeply in love through quarantine — even adopting a dog — their relationship fizzled after 10 months of dating.
While she hasn’t gone Instagram official with anyone since, she did hint that she’s keeping up with her love life — albeit virtually. “I do a lot of FaceTime sex – it’s the safest sex. I’m not getting COVID,” Miley said to Howard Stern on Dec. 2. “I am definitely not going to be doing anything that’s irresponsible for myself or for other people…it’s just ridiculous for anybody that won’t take the right precautions to keep each other safe. It’s f***** up.”
