Amy Schumer, 39, escaped the winter chill with her husband Chris Fischer, 40, and their one-year-old son Gene just in time for Christmas! The comedian spent December 25 playing on the beach with her husband and their mini-me, as the proud parents were seen carrying their son along the golden sand, and helping him dig to build sandcastles. Amy sported a black one-piece swimsuit and pulled her blonde tresses back into a top knot. She was all smiles as she went for a dip in the crystal blue Caribbean waters, shortly before she was joined by Chris and Gene in the ocean.
Her hubby cut a casual figure in a white tee and matching white shorts, before switching it up with a pair of floral swimming trunks as he went for a swim in the ocean. Amy tied the knot with her chef hubby in February 2018, and they welcomed their first child in May 2019. Inspired by her beau, Amy tried her hand at cooking and received an Emmy nomination for her series Amy Schumer Learns to Cook.
Her adorable family pre-recorded an acceptance speech in the event they took home the award, and despite losing to Netflix’s Cheer, Amy shared the cute clip to Instagram back in September. “Emmy loss,” she captioned the Instagram video, which also featured the youngster’s nanny, Jane and their dog Tati.
Her series, which aired on The Food Network, was nominated in the outstanding unstructured reality program category. “The vid we made in case we won. We lost to Cheer!” she wrote, adding, “I loved Cheer!” The group sat around what appeared to be their family kitchen table, with their sweet son perched in a high chair eating a snack. “This video they’ll play if we win an Emmy. Jane, who do we want to thank?” she asked. Jane replied, “Thanks for the people who are watching our show, thanks for all the support and love. Thank you Food Network, thanks to Amy especially and Chris, and this little guy.”
