Let’s face it, sitting down and eating at a restaurant this year has been quite the challenge since COVID-19 restrictions set in, but most places are still open for pick up and delivery during regular business hours and that includes this Christmas! Although many places will be closed to observe the holiday, there are still many favorites that will have your favorite lunch, dinner, and/or beverage and snack options ready to go. Whether you’re looking for a full five-course meal or a festive holiday spice latte, there are plenty of locations to scope out!
Ruth’s Chris Steak House is a fancy favorite to many meat lovers at any time of the year, so for them to be open on Christmas Day is a real treat! The hours will vary by location, but most locations will be ready to serve some of their finest menu options, including a three-course seasonal special or the “Holiday Surf & Turf”.
Village Inn is another popular restaurant with delicious options that will be open on Christmas. You can indulge on any of their breakfast, lunch, or dinner items and/or snack on their incredible pie!
IHOP is known for being open for 24 hours and Christmas Day is no exception! Although hours may vary in some locations, they’ll still be opening their doors for most of the day!
Waffle House, like IHOP, is the place to go when you want a bite to eat during very late hours or very early mornings. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year, so head on over on Christmas Day if one of their many delicious options are what you’re craving!
Denny’s is another favorite when it comes to 24 hour dining and yes, they will also be open on Christmas Day. We love when a place is “always open”!
Buffalo Wild Wings should be available to satisfy your hunger on Christmas if you’re wanting delicious chicken wings. The restaurant’s many locations should be open during certain hours, so be sure to call ahead to see when.
Dunkin’ can provide you with your coffee fix on Christmas morning if you’re not wanting to make a pot at home. The popular coffee and donut shop should be open at certain hours on the holiday.
If Dunkin’ is not your thing, you can depend on Starbucks Coffee for your Christmas coffee. Their locations are ready to serve you their special brews, festive lattes, and/or seasonal pastries during varied hours, so get that chestnut praline you’ve been wanting before opening your presents under the tree!
McDonald’s is one of the most popular fast food restaurants in the nation so it’s no surprise that some of them would be open on Christmas. However, since 95% are individually owned and operated, the hours will be different for each location so make sure to check before planning on getting that Big Mac in!
Domino’s Pizza is a Christmas option if you’re wanting to provide yourself and loved ones with the favorite of many – pizza! Some locations will be ready to deliver to your doorstep on the holiday so go online or call and order. We also suggest leaving your driver a decent tip if you can since they are spending the glorious day working, after all!
