George Clooney‘s parenting techniques on his twins might be a bit different than his accomplished 42-year-old wife, Amal‘s, but they are no less fun! The Midnight Sky actor, 59, stopped by The Graham Norton Show for the December 18 episode to dish on his new project and his twins, Alexander and Ella, 3. “They are clearly my wife’s children,” George confessed to host Graham Norton. “They’re three and speak fluent Italian and they are way ahead.”

But that hasn’t stopped the Ocean’s Eleven star from taking his own approach to parenting. “My wife is a genius and they are brilliant kids, and it is my job to dumb them down and put a bit of actor into them, so I teach them horrible things,” he confessed. The Oscar winner also went into detail on what “horrible” lessons he has been imparting to his youngsters.

“When I hear the shriek from my wife, I know I have succeeded,” he said. “I taught them to put Nutella in their nappies and to go upstairs, take off the nappy and eat it!” Over the course of his career, George has built up a reputation not only as a respected actor and filmmaker, but also as a major prankster! The star has opened up in the past about the various pranks he’s pulled on co-stars like Brad Pitt and more.

Now, it seems that he’s molding the next generation of jokers in his two young kiddos! But while the beloved star has found some pockets of joy during this unprecedented time, he confessed that there are some things he really misses during the COVID-19 pandemic. “It’s all things that are lousy in that I miss my parents and I miss seeing family and friends,” he shared, echoing the difficulties so many people across the globe are facing.

Luckily, George has his incredible wife and two little ones within reach. The family of four has been staying together at their Los Angeles home, and George has completely embraced all aspects of fatherhood. “I do a lot of changing of diapers, wash dishes and do the laundry all day long,” he shared. “But I do get to put them to bed at night and wake them up every morning. There is something very special about that.”
