Ariana Grande, 27, is enjoying the festive season with her new boyfriend Dalton Gomez. The “7 Rings” hitmaker has been quarantined with her beau throughout 2020, and a source close to the singer told HollywoodLife exclusively that she’s happier than ever. “Ariana is focused on her relationship with Dalton now and she couldn’t be happier. They’ve been able to spend so much time together and have gotten so close while quarantining,” the source dished.
“Ariana and Dalton decorated her place for Christmas and she’s so happy to be celebrating the holidays with him. She feels very lucky to have found someone she connects so well with and he really makes her so happy.” It comes just a few days after her Saturday Night Live star ex Pete Davidson seemingly threw some subtle shade at her while interacting with a fan. As fans surrounded him in New York City after an SNL taping, Pete discovered that one was named Arianna — to which he replied, “Well hello! Let’s get married!”
Nevertheless, a source close to the comedian told HollywoodLife it was simply a joke and there was no bad blood. “Being funny is Pete’s day job and his night job — it’s who he is,” the source explained. “The joke was so innocent and fun and there was never any shade meant towards Ariana whatsoever. Pete will continue to look back at that time [with Ariana] with joy, and if he continues to joke about it that’s all it will be — just having fun and never to make Ariana feel bad.”
Meanwhile, Ariana recently shared a series of photos to Instagram, one of which included a black and white snapshot of her passionately kissing her boyfriend Dalton. The horizontal pic showed them both from the neck up as they closed their eyes and enjoyed the loving lip-locking. How sweet!
