Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have duetted on The Voice stage a number of times — and they were at it once again during the season 19 finale on Dec. 14. The two teamed up to sing their hit “Happy Anywhere,” and as always, they put on quite a show. Gwen’s engagement ring from Blake was on full display, and she looked stunning in black and white checkered crop top and miniskirt under a matching long-sleeved flared-out top.
Blake looked equally as great in a dark gray button-down shirt under a black vest and black pants as he strummed his acoustic guitar. The lovebirds were all smiles while happily swaying to the music during the performance and lovingly looked at each other more than once, proving they’re one of the cutest couples in Hollywood!
Of course, the night wasn’t all fun and games, as Blake and Gwen are both focused on trying to win the show with their remaining contestants. With five artists left competing to win, Blake has two singers in the finale, while Gwen, along with fellow coaches, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, have one each. Gwen has never won the show before, and is hoping that Carter Rubin will finally give her that W. Meanwhile, Blake is pulling for Jim Ranger or Ian Flanigan to give him his eighth victory.
This has been quite a year for Blake and Gwen, as they experienced both personal and professional achievements amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Blake proposed to Gwen after five years of dating in October, and she excitedly accepted. Plus, the lovebirds had TWO songs — “Happy Anywhere” and “Nobody But You” — hit no. 1 on the country Billboard charts, proving that they know how to make sweet, sweet music together.
Gwen recently confirmed that she and Blake aren’t rushing to tie the knot, as she doesn’t want to get married while the coronavirus is still so prevalent. Of course, Gwen wants her parents in attendance at the nuptials, and she recently explained that they’ve been taking extreme caution during the pandemic. So, until it’s safe for mom and dad to be at a wedding, it looks like these two are going to hold off on walking down the aisle for now.
Luckily, they still have the holiday season to look forward to. Considering Gwen has an entire Christmas album — which includes yet another duet with Blake — it’s no secret that she loves the holidays. In the spring, Blake will return as a coach on season 20 of The Voice, although Gwen will be sitting this season out. However, she’s hard at work on her new solo music, with more expected to come in the new year.
