Carrie Underwood took center stage at Nashville’s Oceanway Studios for a special holiday performance for Pandora LIVE on Dec. 8. The country singer sang Christmas songs off of her recent holiday album, My Gift. Her performance included holiday classics like “Silent Night” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” along with some of her originals, like “Sweet Baby Jesus” and “Let There Be Peace.”
As always, Carrie looked incredible while she gave her holiday show. She wore a shimmering green mini dress, which was held together with a wrap belt around the middle. Her toned legs were on full display in the look, and she accentuated them with matching heels. Her hair was straight and parted to the side, and it cascaded down her back as she belted out her songs.
Of course, the set was super festive, too. Carrie and her band performed in front of a bunch of Christmas trees, which were lit up for the occasion. There were also red spotlights in the background. In addition to performing, Carrie also dished about some of her favorite holiday traditions during the special.
Carrie released My Gift to fans in September, and followed it up with an entire Christmas special on HBO Max earlier this month. During the special, she wore a number of different stunning outfits to perform tracks from the record. There was also a duet with John Legend and an appearance from Carrie’s five-year-old son, Isaiah, who sang with his mom on her version of “Little Drummer Boy.”
In addition to recording her Christmas album, Carrie has spent a lot of 2020 focused on bonding with her family amidst the coronavirus pandemic. However, she popped up at the CMA Awards in November, and she performed during the ACM Awards in September. At the show, her set was dedicated to fierce women in country music, and she performed a medley of absolute classic songs from some of the biggest female stars over the years. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
