She was flying right before Thanksgiving out of one of the busiest airports in the country, but Cardi B made sure to at least protect herself with an oversized face mask while walking through LAX. The “WAP” rapper, 28, was spotted heading into the airport on November 25 with her entire face covered by a silk scarf, following pandemic protocols. We’re talking every inch of her head. See for yourself in the photo below.
Cardi went full Invisible Man by perching her sunglasses on top of the scarf. Truly, kudos to the paparazzi who recognized this was actually the “I Like It” rapper. She rounded out her outfit with yellow joggers, sneakers, forest green acrylics, and a pink RIP & Repair hoodie that read “No More Happy Endings” on the back. While the CDC has advised Americans not to travel over the Thanksgiving holiday in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, Cardi was likely there to board a private plane.
Cardi’s trip out of LAX came the same day that she dipped her toe into the Grammys controversy, and got an apology from Wiz Khalifa who seemingly slammed her. Wiz shaded Cardi for winning “Best Rap Album” at the 2019 Grammys, replying to a fan who tweeted, “Cardi wining a Grammy when Nicki Minaj didn’t is the biggest proof that they don’t know a s**t bout music.” Wiz shot back with, “Most self made artists have this problem.”
Cardi called out people for pitting herself and Nicki against each other on November 24. Wiz reposted her message, and said, “Damn that wuz good advice. I still support u. Nothings changed. Your [sic] self made in my book as well.” All’s well that ends well?
