Eva Mendes’ Needle Treatment For Neck Tightening: Pic Scares Fans

Who doesn’t want to look as gorgeous as Eva Mendes? At 46, the semi-retired actress and mother of two still looks so breathtakingly beautiful. But she’s sharing that she gets some help when it comes to tightening up her neck, and it sure looks painful. Eva posted a photo to her Instagram account on Nov. 12, laying on her back in an aesthetician’s chair with a series of needles placed just underneath her jawline. Its a process called mono-threading.

Eva’s doctor Mariana Vergara Hofstetter explained that “mono threads activate collagen synthesis which produces a gradual skin thickening, skin tightening and rejuvenation effect.” Which sounds like an amazing way to prevent jowls or a saggy neck and jawline. But the needles freaked many fans out. When one fan asked if the procedure hurt, Eva responded back, “not really-surprisingly enough! And my threshold for pain is low! It looks more invasive than it is.”

Eva Mendes assures a fan that the scary-looking mono-threading procedure doesn’t hurt.

However, many users missed Eva’s response to the fan’s comment. Follower @roberta02466 wrote, “I’m in pain just looking at this picture!” while @youngmicsizzle commented, “HELL NAH GIRL‼️‼️‼️ THIS LOOKS SO CRAZY. I hope ur ok …. I’m shook,” to which a fellow fan @biancavegana responded, “my thoughts exactly. This is too scary for me.” User @the_kconnolly noted, “Have ya SEEN Hellraiser?? Oof,” comparing what Eva looked like to antagonist Pinhead from the Hellraiser film series.

Eva’s post wasn’t meant to scare anyone, as it was an announcement that her doctor Mariana is opening her own “One-stop location for the most private and luxurious beauty experience,” in Beverly Hills. For Eva, it is a dream come true. “This spa-home away from home is incredible! No office with bad fluorescent lighting. No sterile office vibe. This is my go to for all things beauty. A home where you can relax while being tortured by the best of the best,” she wrote in the photo, and added, “This is my happy place!” Wait, shouldn’t her happy place be with dreamy partner Ryan Gosling? Kidding! No wonder Eva’s skin is so flawless if she loves getting these kind of treatments done.

Eva continued, “Here I am getting some Mono-Threads. Ayyyy Dios!” then told fans, “I’ll update you with results if you care.” Of course she got an overwhelming “yes” response from her followers. User @dalvrzz posted applause emojis and wrote, “We care we care I’m thinking I need this soon is she in LA?” and Mariana’s new beauty villa’s IG account answered and told the user to shoot them a DM for more info. Just like that, Eva’s trick to tightening her neck and jawline skin is already going to be helping fans…or at least those who are able to afford it.
