Stassi Schroeder, 31, and her fiance Beau Clark, 40, have a baby on the way. “Stassi and Beau will be welcoming their first child the first week in January and are grateful and eager to begin the next chapter of their lives as parents,” her rep, Steve Honig, confirmed to HollywoodLife. News of this breaking comes just four days after she and Kristen Doute, 37, were axed from Vanderpump Rules over racism allegations made by their former co-star Faith Stowers. The longtime couple were spotted for the 1st time since Stassi got the chop from the Bravo series on Friday, June 12, in Los Angeles where she covered up her baby bump with a long cardigan while the two picked up some food. HollywoodLife has reached out to Stassi’s rep for comment on the matter.
Bravo fired the two women, who have appeared on VPR for all of its eight seasons, over an alleged 2018 incident where they falsely reported Faith to the police for a crime she didn’t commit. Kristen has since privately apologized to Faith over the matter, but that didn’t stop the network from taking action. The crime was reported by Daily Mail back when it happened and it involved an African American woman and theft.
In addition to Stassi and Kristen, Vanderpump Rules stars Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were also fired over past racist tweets that resurfaced. Both men admitted they regret the tweets and Lisa Vanderpump backed them up at the VP reunion, but that clearly wasn’t enough to change the minds of the network, who made the decision after the reunion aired on June 2.
After an eventful week full of negatives, it seems with her pregnancy news, Stassi has at least one positive thing. Her alleged racist remarks caused her to lose her PR representation and her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, was removed from all platforms, so it looks like it’s sure to be a time of major changes for the reality star. Luckily, Beau is be her side through it all and we can’t help but think their main focus right now is bringing their baby into the world.
Stassi and Beau got engaged in July 2019 and were planning on airing their upcoming wedding on Vanderpump Rules before her firing. Although their initial plans were to wed in Italy in Oct. 2020, Stassi recently admitted the special day will most likely be moved to Oct. 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
