The finale of season 17 of The Voice is here! Tonight, either Rose Short, Ricky Duran, Jake Hoot or Katie Kadan will be named the winner of the show, but first, there are tons of fun performances to get through. Up first, some of the season 17 male vocalists — Alex Guthrie, Will Breman, Max Boyle and Shane Q — hit the stage for an upbeat and fun rendition of “Give Me Some Lovin’.” The next performance is from Lady Antebellum, who sing their latest hit song, “What If I Never Get Over You.” Of course, they absolutely KILL it, as always!
The next performance is from the Black Eyed Peas, along with J Balvin and the dance group, Illuminate. The stage is full of insane choreography as the group belts out “RITMO.” Another incredible collaboration is up next — Katie teams up with Adam Lambert for the most beautiful rendition of “Believe” by Cher. Adam is no stranger to singing competitions, and Katie could very well be following in his successful footsteps after tonight!
Rose’s duet is up next — and she gets to team up with a legend, Yolanda Adams, for a powerful performance of “Through The Midst Of It All.” SO good! Some more of the former contestants from this season — Kat Hammock, Cali Wilson, Gracee Shriver and Marybeth Byrd — reunite next to perform “Neon Moon,” and it’s absolutely gorgeous.
Next, the performances continue when Dua Lipa hits the stage to sing her latest hit, “Don’t Start Now.” She looks stunning in a silver fringe outfit while she dances and belts out the track. Following Dua Lipa, Ricky gets the chance to perform with one of his idols, Gary Clark Jr. The guys sing “Pearl Cadillac” while rocking out on their guitars, they totally kill it.
Last season’s winner, Maelyn Jarmon, returns to The Voice stage to get the crowd in the holiday spirit by performing “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” Yup, it’s no secret why she won the whole show! Finally, it’s time for Jake to perform his duet — and he gets to sing with Little Big Town! They sing the band’s hit “Over Drinking,” and it’s the absolute perfect country collaboration.
Jennifer Hudson is the next performer, and she’s back on The Voice to give the first-ever television performance of her song, “Memory,” from her new movie, Cats. As always, Jennifer sounded like straight perfection on the iconic track. Next, it’s time to bring back some of the singers from this season, as Joana Martinez, Myracle Holloway and Hello Sunday team up for a powerful rendition of “Keep Me Hangin’ On.” The next performance comes from country singer Luke Combs, who gives an emotional performance of his song “Even Though I’m Leaving.” In the background, sentimental pictures of the contestants flash on the screen, too.
Finally, it’s time to get to some results! Carson Daly announces the artist in fourth place, and it’s….ROSE SHORT. In third place, it’s….KATIE KADAN. So, it comes town to TEAM KELLY vs. TEAM BLAKE, and the winner is….JAKE HOOT!
