Kobe Bryant is a dad again at 40, after his wife Vanessa gave birth to their fourth child – another little girl – on June 20. This time the couple named their bundle of joy Capri Kobe. They took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their daughter with cute posts. “So thankful for our newest baby blessing, Capri Kobe Bryant,” Vanessa, 37, captioned the birth announcement post on her page. Kobe couldn’t contain his joy, either, writing on Instagram, “We are beyond excited that our baby girl ‘Koko’ has arrived #BryantBunch #4princesses #blessed.”
This is the fourth child for the Bryants who already have three older daughters – Natalia, 16, Gianna, 13, and Bianka, 2. The couple’s celebrity pals were quick to congratulate them on the new addition to their family. Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kim Zolciak, commented on Vanessa’s post, writing, “Congrats babe!!!” Questlove added, “Congrats! Blessings.” Actress La La Anthony also reached out, writing, “Beautiful blessing. Congrats.”
Kobe thrilled fans on New Year’s Day when he revealed that he and his wife were expecting another child. On Jan. 1 he shared an Instagram post with the message, “New Year, New Baby! Baby Mamba on the way. 2019.” As devoted fans will know, the former L.A. Laker’s nickname is, “The Black Mamba.” He added the following caption, “Vanessa and I are beyond excited to announce that we are expecting another #mambacita to go along with Natalia, Gianna and Bianka #blessed #bryantbunch #daddysprincesses #love #2019.”

Vanessa has been sharing pictures of her baby bump throughout her pregnancy. On June 15 – just five days before Capri was born – she posted a photo of herself in a black bodysuit, showing off her huge bump. She captioned the picture, “Mommy.” On June 16 she posted a Father’s Day tribute to Kobe, with a collage of pictures of him with their three older girls. “Happy Father’s Day, baby! You’re such an incredibly loving and amazing daddy to our sweet girls,” she wrote. “@kobebryant 😘❤️We love you so very much! Xoxo ❤️, VB, Nani, Gigi and B.B.”
