Tell me about your partnership with Origins and your daily skincare routine?
It was very kind of Origins to invite me down here to Disney Springs in Orlando to open their new store. It’s really exciting because it’s the first free-standing store they’ve opening in 7 years. I’ve been a longtime fan of the Origins brand, so it was really cool to come down here and try a bunch of their products and do a little bit of holiday shopping and make sure if I was all stocked up for my skincare routine.

Working a lot on set and working the hours that I do, you wear a lot of makeup from first thing in the morning to the last thing at night. So it’s really important to have a good skincare routine where you get all of your makeup off and stay moisturized. One of the things that really helps me do that are not only some of the Origins products but also their face masks. I tend to do at least one a week, generally on a Sunday. I’ll do them twice a week if I feel like my skin really needs it, because you don’t always have time to run off to the spa to go get a facial, so it’s nice to be able to do that at home.
What are your tips for combatting lack of sleep or being on the go all the time?
I think drinking a lot of water is really important. That helps. I am obviously addicted to caffeine, which helps me get through the long days, but it doesn’t always help when you go home and you have to get the few hours of sleep that you can. So trying to minimize the amount of caffeine, drink a lot of water and these skincare products really help combat the look and sort of dullness of your skin that sort of comes with missing out on that sleep. There’s this GinZing eye cream, along with the moisturizer, that’s really wonderful to use, but they also have this product called Night-A-Mins, which sort of makes your face glow and replenishes all the moisture in it and that can be really important to put on before you get that little bit of sleep so that you wake looking fresh-faced, even if you’re a little bit exhausted.
With the winter right around the corner, how do you keep your skin looking fresh?
Again, tons of moisturizer, eye cream, and lots of water.
Do you have a must-have product on the go? What’s the one thing you have to have your bag?
So that GinZing line I was telling you about, they have this spray that can go on over your makeup or under your makeup if you want to start it before you start applying. In the middle of your day, you can just pull that out and spritz it and it’s got ginseng and coffee extract, so it brings all of this brightness back to your face when your makeup is looking a little bit tired at 4 o’clock.
What Origins products are on your holiday wish list?
I seriously just got stocked p at the Origins store, so I have nothing left on my wish list. But the good thing is that I also accomplished a lot of holiday shopping for my friends and friends. They’ve got a lot of really cool gift sets and one of the coolest things they’ve also released are these RitualiTeas face masks. They’re these powders that come in a variety of different teas, they’re all based on different tea rituals around the world. There’s this one called the Oolong-La that is sort of like a chai tea. It’s got a very spicy, like warm notes of fall and you take home the powder and you mix it with water and you can kind of make your at-home facial.
