Because of her age, Janet Jackson, 50, is automatically having whatās considered a high-risk pregnancy with her first child. Because of this, her doctors have allegedly pushed her to have a cesarean section in a hospital as her safest option. Janetās family, including husband Wissam Al Mana, 41, are reportedly pleading with the singer to listen to her doctors!
But Janetās allegedly insisting on a home birth, because sheās plain freaked out about having her baby. She wants to do what feels comfortable, and that apparently means no hospitals! Is there anything Wissam can do to change his wifeās mind?
āJanet is insisting on a water birth at home, with the help of a midwife,ā a source told OK! Magazine. āSheās very nervous and thinks being in her own home with help her relax. Not to mention the privacy factor of delivering at home, which is huge for her. She just wants the delivery to go as smoothly as possible.ā
āHer family is urging her to give birth at a hospital, but sheās yet to give into the idea,ā the source said. āWissam can usually get through to her, so hopefully he can make her see that it would be best for both the baby and Janet herself.ā
This is such a scary situation! You have to feel for both Janet, and for Wissam. Her pregnancy has been so high-risk, that she had to postpone her Unbreakable World Tour in April because of ādoctorsā orders to rest up.ā At one point, the source told the mag, doctors out her on strict bed rest. Now itās up to Janet to decide how to give birth!
