The 2016 American Music Awards will air at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles! The amazing night starts with what is sure to be an epic red carpet. Then, at 8pm, head over to theamas.com to watch the show, via a live stream video. The awards are hosted by Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah — so we have a pretty good feeling they’ll make us laugh and cheer. We seriously couldn’t think of better hosts for the big evening.
Performers include Ariana Grande feat. Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Sting, Lady Gaga, John Legend, Niall Horan, DJ Khaled featuring Nicki Minaj, August Alsina, Future and Rick Ross, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5 feat. Kendrick Lamar, Fifth Harmony, Twenty One Pilots, The Chainsmokers and Halsey, Green Day, Shawn Mendes, and James Bay.
Plus, the show’s presenters will include Karli Kloss, 26, Teyana Taylor, 25, Nina Dobrev, 27, Ciara, 31, Taraji P. Henson, 46, Heidi Klum, 43, Zoe Saldana, 32, Robert Downey Jr., 51, and Matt Bomer, 39! That’s a lot of big names — we’re so excited.
Gigi recently told Teen Vogue that she’s super excited to see so many of her favorite artists on stage. “I love Gaga and I think that she always brings something with so much heart. I’m very excited to see what she has for us,” she told the magazine. We have to admit — we’re also stoked to see Gaga perform. It’s going to be epic.
