Bruno Mars, 31, is on a roll! Not only did he release a killer new album on Friday, Nov. 18, but he just gave one of the best performance of his career at the American Music Awards on Nov. 20.

The 31-year-old hit the stage in what looked to be a tracksuit, while joined by some super cool back dancers/singers. He swayed his hips and belted out the lyrics to “24K Magic,” while Lady Gaga, Tim McGraw, John Legend, Ciara, and Sting cheered him on from the audience. Then, there was a moment where the lights went dark and only a single spotlight pointed down on Bruno while he put his killer dance moves on display. So cool! The entire performance was so epic.
Interestingly, this was Bruno’s very first performance on the American Music Awards stage, but had we not discovered that fun fact, we would have never know! He performed like a true vet. Bruno, who won the Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist award in 2011, has scored seven AMA nominations in the past. This year he was not nominated, but that’s only because he didn’t have any new music out in the last year.
