Just like many of us, our favorite celebrities are not here for Indiana Governor Mike Pence‘s desire to cut off Planned Parenthood’s funding and limit abortion access. Singer Bethany Cosentino posted an Instagram on Nov. 12, pointing out that if you donate to the women’s health organization, you can make a gift in someone’s name, and they’ll be alerted:
Stars like Amber Tamblyn and Amy Schumer immediately praised the idea. “Done and done,” Amy wrote on Instagram. “I’m doing it. You? And if you’re here to comment and tell us to get over it, I’ll block you. You are NOT. WELCOME. HERE,” Amber told her followers. Yes!! Katy Perry also publicly donated $10,000 to the organization:
The best part is that Planned Parenthood has confirmed they’ve seen an influx of donations as a result of this new trend. “Thank you so much! We’ve been blown away by the support we’ve received. Many people are donating in Clinton or Pence’s name. #WeWontGoBack,” the organization tweeted on Nov. 12. So awesome!
