Michael Jordan, 50, has Scottie Pippen‘s, 51, back both on and off the basketball court. “After hearing all this drama that’s going on between Scottie and Larsa [Pippen], MJ has reached out and is telling him to make it work,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Mike’s a family man who believes in love, and has always been a captain that Scottie has taken advice from over the years.”
In case you didn’t know, Michael and Scottie have been homies since their NBA days, as they both played for the Chicago Bulls. It makes perfect sense that Jordan would be rooting for Scottie and Larsa, 42, to work out their 19-year marriage since he’s known them as a couple for so long. Not to mention, Michael went through a messy divorce of his own, so he’s speaking from experience. “He’s been in Scottie’s shoes before when he and Juanita were publicly going through a divorce,” the source continues. “It’s not good.”
Sadly, the couple’s divorce has already taken such a nasty turn that there might not be room to backtrack. Just one week after filing, Scottie has requested “ultimate responsibility” of their four children (Scottie Jr., Preston, Justin and Sophia) and reportedly BEGGED the courtroom judge to get out of paying a single dime towards alimony. If Scottie did get full custody of their kids, he allegedly wants to move them to Chicago, which means Larsa would barely get to see them since she lives in Florida. At this point Michael is hoping for miracle that they to stay together and work it out.
HollywoodLifers, are you keeping a positive attitude like Michael is? Can Larsa and Scottie work it out?
