Kevin Meaney will truly be missed as a prolific comedian who inspired those around him. The legendary star tragically passed away on Oct. 21 at the age of 60, but the reason behind his shocking passing remained a mystery. Now, Sheriff Eric Chaboty from Monticello, New York has shared the results of Kevin’s preliminary autopsy report with HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, revealing that a heart attack was the speculated cause of his sudden death. He also noted, “Police were called to Kevin’s house at approx 4:20 PM Oct. 21, to check on him because family members had been unable to reach him.”
Always thought Kevin Meaney was a brilliant comedian. Then we hung out in Ireland and I found out he was also a terrific person. RIP.

The stand-up comic was discovered deceased at his Forestburgh, New York abode, sitting on his couch after a deputy gained entry into his residence. His sudden death has rattled those who knew him and saw him as a “brilliant” person that brought so much beauty into our world. Kevin first became a household name with his breakthrough HBO comedy special in 1986, continuing to make his mark by stopping by shows like The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, The Late Show and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Kevin also was known for his role on the 1990 sitcom Uncle Buck, making features on 30 Rock and Dr. Katz as well.
This has definitely been a major shocker since he was tweeting only two days before his death. Making light of the third presidential debate, he wrote, “Some last-minute advice for Hillary: Light your hair on fire! Be crazy and tell him “he’s fired” Hit him in the face with a pie!#debate.” Kevin will certainly leave behind a legacy, especially being remembered for his iconic catchphrase “That’s Not Right!” Stars and those close to him have already written their condolences and shared their fond memories with the late comedian, many of those addressing his amazing skills.
HollywoodLifers, please keep Kevin’s loved ones in your thoughts during this tough time.
