Nicki Minaj, 32, has never been one to use a filter, and that was definitely the case when she got up onstage for her set at the TIDAL X 1015 charity show in NYC. Nicki weighed in on the 2016 presidential election, but she wasn’t focused on the race between Hillary Clinton, 68, and Donald Trump, 70, necessarily. She was talking about the role spouses play in politics! And apparently, Melania Trump isn’t doing such a great job, according to Nicki!
“Barack needed Michelle, b*tch,” Minaj told the massive crowd at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. “And Bill needed a motherf**king Hillary, b*tch. You better pray to God you don’t get stuck with a motherf**king Melania. You want brainless b*tches to stroke your motherf**king ego? F**k you.”

Wow! Harsh, much? Nicki seemed like she was trying to tell the crowd that Donald was awful because he needed someone to praise him all the time; strong men like President Obama and Bill Clinton don’t need their “egos stroked.” But she totally tore down Melania in the process! Who’s to say Melania is dumb? She could also be a strong woman, too!

It’s no secret that Melania’s been pretty upset with her husband after his alleged sexual harassment scandals began. The infamous Trump tape was recorded just months after they got married, and while she was pregnant with their son, Barron! At the October 9 presidential debate, Melania barely acknowledged Donald, only giving him a peck on the cheek, and made the bold move of wearing a “pussy bow” shirt. If that wardrobe choice was intentional, that’s pretty badass!
Nicki denied on Twitter the next morning that she was trying to insult Melania, saying: “Wasn’t “dragging”. She seems nice. But a smart man knows he needs a certain “kind” of woman when running for President/attempting greatness” Let’s see how Melania feels about it!
