1. Daryl shot to fame when he was nine-years-old in the film Spy Kids.
He was a child actor with numerous TV credits when he landed the role of Juni Cortez in the surprise hit that spawned a franchise. The films about kids who have to save their secret agent parents from danger were a treat for Daryl, who said of the experience, “I feel really lucky that I grew up pretending to be a spy for my whole childhood.”
2. Daryl had a memorable role in one of the final episodes of Friends.
He was featured in a 2003 episode where childless Chandler and Monica visit friends of Phoebe’s who adopted a son to discuss how to best go about the process. Daryl played Owen, who Matthew Perry‘s Chandler accidentally revealed to him that he was adopted before his parents broke the news.
3. Daryl has done extensive voice over work in addition to acting in front of the camera.
You may have heard plenty of his work without ever seeing his face! Daryl voiced Hunter the lion cub on NBC ‘s Father of the Pride, but is best known for giving life to Rex on the Cartoon Network’s Generator Rex from 2010-2013. He also voiced characters in the animated films The Polar Express and Finding Nemo.

4. Daryl graduated from public school in SoCal.
Despite his constant work in Hollywood throughout his childhood and teens, Daryl still managed to go to school like other kids and graduated from Torrance’s West High School in 2010.
5. Meghan professed her adoration for Daryl on her social media just days before making it official by holding hands with him in public.
The singer shared an Instagram pic of her beloved pooch with Daryl right behind the pup and captioned it with just a loving heart. After making their big debut at L.A.X., she shared a paparazzi pic showing the two of then hand in hand with the caption, “off to Spain!” So adorbs.
