“Johnny only wants to deal with music right now, and be as far removed from Amber as possible,” the source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “If he never sees her again that would be too soon. He is glad that [their marriage] is over and wants to move on (with his life) ASAP.”
Well, we certainly know how he feels about this situation! Johnny Depp and his soon-to-be ex-wife Amber Heard settled their domestic violence case on August 16, with Amber dismissing her request for a restraining order against Johnny nearly three month after accusing him of systematically abusing her throughout their marriage. He gave her $7 million in the settlement; she had originally asked for $8 million.

Almost immediately after news of the settlement broke, Johnny and Amber issued a joint statement, saying that things did get heated in their marriage, but they did love each other. Interestingly, though, it also said that nobody made false statements. The statement said Amber wished Johnny well, but there was no mention if Johnny was doing the same for Amber.
The day before Johnny and Amber settled their case, she released several alleged pieces of damning evidence against him, including a disturbing video that showed him getting violent, and some truly gruesome photos. Amber alleged that Johnny cut off the tip of his finger while extremely drunk, and in a fit of rage, dipped the bloody stump in paint and painted on their mirror wild accusations about her cheating. The photos show his disgusting, maimed finger, and the mirror, which almost illegibly says “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” in a mixture of blood and blue paint; he had allegedly accused her of sleeping with actor Billy Bob Thornton.
