Hugh Hefner, 90, must be so proud to see his third wife, Crystal Hefner, 30, embracing her new look after going under the knife to remove her sizable implants. The glamour model took to Instagram on July 20, rocking a red, white and blue bikini to showcase her more pleasant state now that her life is no longer at risk. She pulled her blonde tresses back in a high ponytail and struck a playful pose, alongside an inspiring caption stating her goals for this year: “The new me. Happier and healthier. Using 2016 to reclaim my health and embrace and love myself for the real me. Thank you for the overwhelming support on my post yesterday, I love you.”

Crystal is obviously very grateful that her 3.6 Million followers have shown her empathy after she revealed her recent struggles. She listed the several side-effects including “intolerance to foods and beverages, unexplained back pain, constant neck and shoulder pain, cognitive dysfunction (brain fog, memory loss), stunted hair growth, incapacitating fatigue, burning bladder pain,” and the list goes on.

The Arizona-native even shared how she kept her social media page up-to-date with older photos, keeping up the facade that all was well as she privately endured the painful symptoms. She admitted that the last straw was when she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and toxic mold. We’re sure her hubby Hef has also been very supportive, considering the pair has been going strong since their Dec. 2012 wedding.
The blonde beauty also explained that she found comfort after discovering a “breast implant illness website” with nearly 3,000 members who were also experiencing similar difficulties. Crystal has been proudly posting photos of her smaller chest, most recently flaunting her enviable physique in a black bikini on July 18. We’re glad to see her able to get back out there and start enjoying life again after this tumultuous time!
