Melania Trump, 46, was one of the brightest political stars shining in Cleveland at the start of the Republican National Convention. Donald Trump’s, 70, wife was set to speak at the end of the first life, but she left everyone speechless with her fashion!
The wife of the Republican presidential candidate stepped out on the stage at the July 18 event in a flawless Roksanda dress. She was a political vision in white, demonstrating a sense of elegance and grace. The Roksanda dress retails anywhere from $1,500 to $2,000 dollars, according to Women’s Wear Daily. Amazingly, she didn’t have it specifically designed for her. Melania simply “liked the dress” and bought it herself from Net-a-porter, a spokeswoman tells WWD. Wow!

Along with being fashionable, Melania is politically savvy. So, it’s no surprise that Melania was tapped to talk about Trump, as she has been one of his biggest political defenders. After Donald made his notorious comments about Mexicans, Muslims, Women and practically any other minority, Melania clapped back at all her hubby’s haters. “We know the truth. He’s not Hitler. He wants to help America. He wants to unite people,” she said. Well, then. That’s settled.
She also has channeled a previous first lady, as she invoked the spirit of glamour and elegance of the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis during the Indiana primary. Melania’s dress that night gave off Jackie O vibes, especially to her 1969 shift dress. Of course, Trump’s wife dress was far more form fitting, but it still was rather beautiful. One thing’s for certain – if Donald wins the election in November, Melania will be one of the most stylish First Ladies ever.
What did you think about Melania’s outfit, HollywoodLifers? Does it get your vote, or did you think it was a political (and fashion) snafu?
