As we previously reported, Calvin reportedly wrote the song from Tom’s point of view, and now that we have the full set of lyrics, that rumor doesn’t seem so far-fetched. However, keep in mind that sources have also revealed that the song isn’t about Taylor at all.
“People are just making assumptions to get attention for a song,” an insider told Us Weekly. “There’s no way it could be about Tom.” But, still, here are the lyrics that have us questioning it:
“Low key, you won’t tell none of your friends about me.” The song starts out with a pretty obvious reference to Tom — his character in Thor is named Loki, and it’s the role he’s probably best known for!
“Look at what we have started, I feel so good when I leave your apartment.” Okay, here’s where major speculation comes in. We know Taylor and Tom first met the night before the Met Gala on May 1, so that’s when this all would have “started.” They reunited and had a major dance-off at the actual event on May 2, but is Calvin now revealing that Tom also slept over Tay’s NYC apartment that night?!
“And you won’t want to hear about my love and my lust babe that I have been feeling, I kiss you once, then I stare at the ceiling.” Soo, does this mean the pair even took things to the next level and locked lips during that possible night together, too!? And maybe Taylor didn’t want to hear about Tom’s “love and lust” for her since, you know, she had a boyfriend at the time!

“My heart speaks, I ain’t seen or been with you for weeks.” After the Met Gala, Taylor and Tom went their separate ways, and weren’t seen together again until more than a month later, after she split from Calvin.
“But I see online that you’ve begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend, being attentive, continue to pretend.” During those “few weeks,” Taylor and Calvin were still dating, and even reportedly took a romantic vacation together. Umm, hellllo!
“You’ve hidden my name on your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell, left him alone and you booked in a hotel.” OMG, does this mean the “Wildest Dreams” singer was sneakily contacting Tom during those weeks they were apart?!
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Is “Ole” about Taylor cheating on Calvin?
