So what did Mike do to get that much-anticipated “yes” from his girl? Enlisted a skywriter to ask the big question! As shown in an awesome Instagram picture of the words “Will You Marry Me Jess?” spread across the sky, Mike clearly went above and beyond (literally) to propose to Jessica. And she obviously loved his efforts (“She said yes!!!,” he captioned the pic), because she couldn’t help gushing on social media herself!

There aren’t any pictures of the ring just yet, but with a proposal like that, we can only imagine that Mike got Jessica one incredible sparkler!
Despite the fact that Mike is one of the best players in Major League Baseball, he didn’t let his success and fame get in the way of love. He’s been dating Jessica since high school! With all of the women in the world that would love to marry Mike, it’s pretty amazing that he’s getting married to his high school sweetheart!
Considering the baseball season is only halfway over, it’ll likely be a little while before Mike and Jessica can walk down the aisle. But whenever they do get hitched, we’re sure Jessica and Mike’s nuptials will be just as incredible as their adorable romance!
