People are still talking about Harry Styles’ new hairstyle! The musician recently chopped off his long brown locks and, believe it or not, the world is still coping. On the bright side, there’s one lady in his life who prefers the new cut — his mom! She thought his previous look was ‘cheesy!’ Gasp!

Harry Styles, 22, has been the talk of the town lately! After the star made the bold move to ditch his longer hair for a fresh-cut, fans have been mourning the loss. His mom, however, is enjoying her son’s haircut. In fact, a source confirmed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she thought the old look was “cheesy!” Ouch.

“He was actually getting a little bored of it anyway, and Anne (his mom) was teasing him about cutting off his pony-tail for a while saying it looked cheesy,” a source confirmed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. There you have it — moms always have the last say!

“But since he’s chopped his locks, he’s amazed by the reaction of his fans on social media and the public outcry that’s come from it. He cannot believe people care that much about it,” our insider added. That’s crazy. Of course people care, Harry, it has become your signature look!

Well, lucky for him, the new shorter look is actually pretty fitting for the star. You never know if a major chop is going to look great, but Harry can pull off both styles and look very dashing. Let’s just hope that this is the only major change for a while.
