Apollonia has had an amazing career as a singer, actress and model, and she met Prince while making his 1984 film Purple Rain. She was also the lead singer in an all-girl group called Apollonia 6! She’s always been gorgeous, and won the Miss San Pedro beauty competition, plus was a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams. She soon began acting, which led her to Prince!

Apollonia was unreachable at first after the news of Prince’s death, and friends were worried for the actress/singer. As we previously told you, the two kept in touch until almost the very end. “Apollonia was calling him a lot, checking in with him just last week. She was really worried about him since his plane made the emergency landing last week. She was still very close to Prince,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Apollonia did apparently go to Minnesota, and she “is dealing with the news and trying to process the news like us all…she is devastated”. Since friends still are unable to reach her, we’re unsure as to where she is exactly. Hopefully we hear from her soon and know she’s okay!
