Rachel Roy’s probably not having the greatest day. Her Wikipedia page was hacked, and the Beyhive shockingly changed her page to reflect what they believe — that Rachel is “Becky with the good hair.” From saying she “died under a lemonade stand” to “calling her a “dusty side hoe,” Beyonce‘s fans didn’t hold back. But are they going too far?
Rachel’s Wikipedia page got a major makeover after Beyonce’s Lemonade aired. The second line of her bio read: “Famously known as Becky with the Good Hair in Beyonce’s latest visual album ‘Lemonade.’ Sad.”
The most shocking change made to her page was that her information was edited to say she “died” on April 23, 2016. Someone wrote she died “under a lemonade stand.” As we all know, Rachel is still alive and well. The caption above her profile photo read, “Hi, I’m a dusty side hoe.”
Okay, guys. Maybe it’s time to take it down a notch. For all we know, Rachel could very well not be “Becky with the good hair.” It’s going too far to say she “died.” She’s got two kids!
But was the Beyhive just responding to Rachel’s Instagram post? Only hours after Lemonade aired, Rachel posted an Instagram photo that seemed to be taunting Beyonce. She captioned the pic, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always.” WHOA.
Rachel and Beyonce have a long history together. HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that Rachel was the reason Solange Knowles attacked Jay Z in an elevator after the Met Ball in 2014. Solange was “defending Beyonce” because she found Jay and Rachel’s friendship “way too close for comfort.”
Cheating rumors have plagued Jay Z and Beyonce’s marriage for years. Beyonce confronted those rumors in Lemonade and revealed her fears that Jay Z was possibly cheating on her. After nearly two years, Rachel is right back in the middle of Beyonce and Jay Z’s drama.
