“Close friends of Apollonia have not been able to reach her and are beginning to worry. Apollonia has been very quiet and those close to her have been unable to reach her to console her. It is a terrible situation,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
This is so sad. As we previously learned, “Apollonia was calling him a lot, checking in with him just last week. She was really worried about him since his plane made the emergency landing last week. She was still very close to Prince.”
“Apollonia is dealing with the news and trying to process the news like us all. She is on her way to Minnesota now. She is devastated like us all,” our insider told us, following Prince’s death. At this time, it’s not clear if Apollonia ever made it to Minnesota — Prince’s home state. And since friends aren’t able to reach her, no one knows where she is or how she’s doing.

Apollonia, 56, was Prince’s one-time lover, protege and co-star in his 1984 hit film, Purple Rain. As we previously reported, Prince was found dead in an elevator in his house on April 21. He allegedly suffered a drug overdose just six days before his passing. And even though his autopsy was completed earlier today, April 22, his death is still shrouded in mystery.
