Page Six has confirmed via sources that Drew and her husband Will, an art consultant, will soon file for divorce: “They’ve been having some difficulties, but they remain close for the sake of their kids,” insiders tell the outlet. Drew and Will have two daughters, Olive, 3, and Frankie, 1. “Drew had a very rebellious and wild childhood, with no family around her, and while she is a very different person now, and a great mother, some of that can stay with you.” We can’t believe that Drew and Will, who began dating in Feb. 2011 before tying the knot in June 2012, are splitsville!
The couple released the following statement, via PEOPLE, about their divorce: “Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.”
This will be Drew’s third divorce — her first marriage, when she was just 19 years old, was in 1994 to bartender Jeremy Thomas. The union lasted for barely two months! She then remarried in 2001 to comedian Tom Green, who was her co-star in “Charlie’s Angels”, but they split after five months. Compared to her previous marriages, three years is pretty good for Drew, but unfortunately she and Will aren’t getting their happy ending! “My husband and I compromise on a lot of things…It’s the little things that you can change that can make a relationship stronger,” Drew has said. “Compromise is about changing yourself for the better. It’s an opportunity for you to become a more functional, better person.” Guess all that compromising didn’t work out after all!
