Just when you thought this presidential race couldn’t get uglier — bam, an alleged sex scandal unravels. The National Enquirer just dropped a massive bombshell on Ted’s campaign by releasing information on the candidate. Ted has allegedly been fooling around with at least five women, according to their report. “Private detectives are digging into [all the] affairs Ted Cruz supposedly had,” a Washington insider told the outlet. The Republican candidate supposedly slept with “a foxy political consultant” and a high-powered D.C. attorney.
Ted spoke out on March 25, and heavily denied the allegations. “It is garbage, complete and utter lies,” he said at a Wisconsin news conference, NBC News reported. “It is a tabloid smear and it has come from Donald Trump and his henchmen.” He also took to his Facebook to release the following statement:
I want to be crystal clear: these attacks are garbage. For Donald J. Trumpto enlist his friends at the National Enquirer and his political henchmen to do his bidding shows you that there is no low Donald won’t go.
These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack.
Donald Trump’s consistently disgraceful behavior is beneath the office we are seeking and we are not going to follow.
Ted isn’t the only one who is trying to clear this up. Although the publication did not name names and only printed pixelated photos, the internet went to town and tried to identify these unlucky ladies. One of the women who’s been identified as a mistress, Amanda Carpenter, went onto CNN to clear her name. She told the anchor that it’s “tabloid trash” and if someone wants to comment on it, “they can talk to my lawyer.”

Then another alleged mistress, Katrina Pierson, quickly made her social media accounts private — but not before others could identify her. She just so happens to be Donald Trump‘s spokeswoman — mind blown. She previously worked for Ted.

This new report comes right on the heels of Donald insulting Ted’s wife with a gross meme that compared an unflattering shot of Heidi to Melania Trump, 45. What a great batch of candidates we have (sarcasm).
