“Eva can be very possessive and suspicious,” a source revealed to OK magazine. And honestly, it looks like this time Eva has good reason to be leery. Although Ryan and Emma have been buds for years, it seems like lately their relationship has progressed into something MUCH more than that. In fact, Emma and Ryan have even reportedly gone so far as to hide their true intentions when they meet up — red flag alert! And since Eva is allegedly not comfortable with Emma and Ryan’s friendship, in order to see each other, the duo have to pretend they’re getting together to discuss business. SO sneaky!

Ryan’s partner of nearly five years would be furious if she found out Em and Ryan’s “‘meetings’ are actually intimate lunches for two where they sit and talk for hours,” the source revealed. Lunches for two? Hmm, sounds pretty romantic to us, even though Ryan “insists nothing is going on.” But if “nothing” is truly going on, then why do Emma and him continue to reportedly meet — in secret — after their latest film, La La Land, has already wrapped? “They really don’t have a professional reason to get together,” the source added.

What’s more, the couple allegedly meet at out-of-the-way restaurants, such as in Burbank, in order to avoid being seen. If you ask us, that’s going to an awful lot of trouble just for two pals to share a friendly meal together. While we’d love for Emma to find a new love interest since her devastating breakup with Andrew Garfield back in October 2015, secretly connecting with a taken man is NOT what we had in mind!

Although we love Ryan and Emma, we don’t want to see poor Eva’s heart get broken, after all, Eva and Ryan even have a baby daughter together. If Emma and Ryan really are sneaking around we hope that they come to their senses soon enough — after all, no one likes a cheater!
