Louis and Briana welcomed their first child into the world on Jan. 23, and it didn’t take long before reports started coming out that Louis, who has been very supportive thus far, was demanding a paternity test to prove that he’s actually the dad of his pal Briana’s kid. And on Jan. 27, HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY found out that that is true. So, why did he feel the need to prove the baby is his?
“Louis does trust Briana but just for peace of mind he did have a paternity test done,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. It makes sense that Louis trusts her, as she hasn’t tried to lock him down, TMZ learned that she doesn’t want his full financial support and is determined to avoid “using him,” and HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that the baby is a spitting image of his dad. However, when you’re a worldwide phenomenon, it can’t hurt to play it safe!
Louis definitely isn’t trying to shirk his responsibilities as a dad. As a matter of fact, he’s totally thrilled with the birth of his first child. The day after the birth, he posted “I’m pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday : ), He is healthy and pretty amazing : ) I’m very happy.” How cute is that?! We’re still so happy for the new parents, good luck with the DNA test, guys!
