“Gwen is in complete shock that he wants to keep Mindy around after she tore their family apart, but Gavin insists that she’s great with the kid and they enjoy her company,” an insider told Star magazine. The “Used To Love You” singer reportedly found out last February that her husband had been cheating on her with the young nanny for years, and that’s when Mindy was let go from working for the family.
The No Doubt frontwoman tried to stick it out and make it work with her husband of 13 years, but couldn’t get past him being unfaithful — she filed for divorce in August. The split hasn’t been finalized, but that hasn’t stopped Gwen from heating things up with her new boyfriend, Blake Shelton, 39, and apparently, jealousy over the romance is what drove Gavin to rehire his alleged mistress. “He might not be trying to hurt Gwen, but it puts the kids in the middle,” the mag’s insider explained. “She’s trying to keep the split amicable, but he’s taking things to a whole new low.”
Gavin might not have too much to worry about, though, because another new report claims that there’s been some trouble in paradise for Blake and Gwen. While just weeks ago they were making plans to walk down the aisle at some point in the future, an insider told InTouch that Gwen is starting to get cold feet, and that things are just moving way too fast for her. Still, the lovebirds were just seen out with Gwen’s kids over the weekend, and during the outing at the movies, they even showed off some sweet PDA! They also went to a wedding together earlier this month and looked totally adorable posing in the photo booth together. Okay, so maybe Gwen doesn’t want to rush a wedding, but things are definitely going A-OK with these two!
