Ok, so let’s go back to the beginning here for second. The war of words between initially began during a sit-down with Stacey and the Fox News talk show that aired on Jan. 20. During the interview, the Clueless actress-turned-conservative pundit not only called the outrage over the Oscars boycott “ludicrous,” but also claimed that African-American-targeted institutions—such as BET, the Image Awards and holidays honoring black history—should no longer exist, calling them a “double standard.”
“We have to make up our minds,” she explained. “Either we want to have segregation or integration. And if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re Black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard.”
BET Shuts Down Stacey Dash With Epic Tweet
Needless to say, Stacey’s controversial comments caused quite a stir on the social media front, as hundreds came out to slam the actress’ views. And yet, no one had a better response to the diss than BET itself, which responded by tweeting a photo of Stacey guest starring in an episode of The Game, — which was, you guessed it, on the Black Entertainment Television channel.
As it turns out, the actress actually had a reoccurring role on the BET dramedy series in the early 2000s, for which she was given a decent paycheck — and one that BET would now like back considering her latest comments.

Burn! Whether you agree with Stacey’s comments or not, there’s no denying that it’s BET who’s having the last laugh here. Though it’s possible Stacey’s thoughts on the network could have changed since her time on the show, it doesn’t change the apparent hypocrisy of it all. So sorry Stacey, but you just got served!
