When the Los Angeles Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant that was issued on a Sunland, California, residence believed to be Mark’s, it apparently wasn’t by any coincidence. An ex-girlfriend of Mark’s knew about the reported “hundreds of images” that cops found on his computer, and sources told TMZ that she tipped off police about the child pornography. Before they raided Mark’s home, police investigated to ensure that she wasn’t making the allegation for revenge on the actor.
The ex-girlfriend remains unnamed, but Mark has had problems with lovers in the past. In 2013, a woman named Roxanne Gorzela sued Mark for sexual battery and assault, claiming that he forced unprotected sex on her despite her request to use a condom. In her lawsuit, Roxanne also claimed that Mark pushed her when she asked if he had been tested for STDs, causing her to hit her head. In March of this year, Mark agreed to pay Roxanne more than $2.7 million in a settlement. There is currently no indication that Roxanne is the one who tipped off police in the child pornography case.
Mark was most recently linked to Disney star Denyse Tontz in the summer of 2014. He has also dated The Hills‘ Audrina Patridge as well as Glee costar Naya Rivera — who allegedly already got her revenge on Mark by keying and egging his car after their split in 2010. It’s still unclear if any of these women tipped off police.
After authorities found child pornography at Mark’s residence, he was taken to the police station for booking. HollywoodLife.com has reached out to Mark’s reps for comment on the situation.
