However, the two are making a point not to put a label on their relationship just yet — after all, the whole romance is so new, and they were friends first.
Sel and Niall were first linked at the beginning of December when they were spotted kissing after the Los Angeles Jingle Ball concert, but things have really been heating up since then. The 23-year-old even flew to the UK for less than three days just so she could hang out with her man and support him at the X-Factor finale, where 1D was performing.
